The millennial generation, born between 1981-1996, grew up in a digital based world; therefore, communicates differently than that of previous generations. The use of technology allowed millennials more opportunity to experience the world around them and at a faster pace, leading to shorter attention spans and the need for instant gratification. Millennials are known to follow their own path by taking chances and have more opportunity at their age than experienced by generation X and baby boomers. Millennials tend to be more sensitive and more aware of their current experiential state by striving to be present in each and every moment. Lastly, millennials tend to move away from a fear based authoritarian lifestyle to create a sense of individualism through multiple walks of life.
